Aruba
Aruba is a perfect wedding and honeymoon destination as Aruba is an island of contrasting landscape offering pure white sandy beaches and turquoise waters in the south, a rugged north coast and a 'wild west' interior of sand dunes and cacti. On Aruba you can choose to be as relaxed or as energetic as you wish. Aruba caters for everyone.
If you enjoy water there is plenty of fun to be had on Aruba -windsurfing, kitesurfing, wreck diving, jet skiing, sea-trekking or visit the Caribbean's largest water park on Aruba, Morgan's Island. On land you can visit Aruba's Arikok National Park, go on jeep safaris or horseback riding. For pure relaxation visit a spa or sip cocktails whilst the sun sets over Aruba's picture perfect beaches.
Legal and documentation requirements
Getting Married in Aruba is simple, you do not need to have residency but British couples must hold a legal ceremony at the Civil Town House after which you may then hold a romantic ceremony at a wedding location on Aruba of your choosing, perhaps on flower-strewn sands or at sea. Let our weddings abroad travel consultants along with a wedding planner in Aruba take the stress from planning your dream wedding.
A marriage certificate is required for a religious ceremony, and if applicable proof of divorce. Authorisation of eligibility to marry is required from a notary or government official. All documents must be in English and fees are advised locally. Two witnesses are required for the ceremony but may be provided locally by the wedding planner.
