Legal and documentation requirements
 
It is very simple to get married in Barbados, no residency is required, couples can marry on the day of their arrival.  A marriage licence must be obtained in person from the Ministry of Home Affairs.  Essential documents including passport and valid return tickets are necessary and costs Bds$200 cash plus Bds$25 stamp.  Two witnesses are required. The Roman Catholic Church has additional requirements and fees, details are supplied by the Bishop of Bridgetown.
