Legal and documentation requirements To be married in Tobago you must reside for 3 days prior to the marriage and both parties must be non-residents. A Special Licence is required, which takes 24 hours to process and is available from the Warden's Office of the Registrar General at a cost of TT$337.50 (must be paid in cash at Warden's Office or in stamps if going to Registrar General). Essential documents and valid airline tickets will need to be presented. Two witnesses are required for the ceremony.
